I'm Wout Vandesompele, I grew up on earth in a small farmervillage in Belgium, also called “het hol van Pluto”. Now living in Ghent with my roommate Dante.

I discovered my passion for technology while studying Devine at KASK in Kortrijk. Now I'm working at Basalte, the industry leader in high-end home automation products.

When I’m not working, you can find me running my weekly miles in nature. Oh and I like to party as well.
